Pre-launch legal review: This operational draft is designed around the new website’s actual data flows. It should be reviewed against Taskmatehub’s final hosting, analytics, email and data-handler registration position before public launch.

1. Who we are

Taskmatehub is a Kenya-based technology, advisory, professional-development and applied-research business. For website enquiries, Taskmatehub determines why and how the information submitted through the website is used.

2. Information we collect

When you contact us, we may collect your name, organization, job title, email address, telephone number, area of interest, preferred engagement, timeframe, message, consent record and limited source/campaign information. We may also process technical information needed for website security and service operation.

3. Why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond to you, understand your organization’s needs, prepare or discuss potential services, maintain appropriate business records, protect the website from abuse and improve our services. We will not treat an enquiry as consent to unrelated marketing.

4. Consent and other processing grounds

Where we rely on consent, we will request it clearly and record it. Other processing may be necessary to respond to a request you initiate, take steps toward a service engagement, comply with applicable obligations, or protect legitimate business and security interests where appropriate.

5. Sharing and service providers

Information may be handled by authorized Taskmatehub personnel and by service providers needed to operate the website, hosting, email, analytics or other approved business systems. We will not publish enquiry information or sell personal information.

6. International transfers

If a selected hosting, email, analytics or cloud provider processes information outside Kenya, Taskmatehub will assess and apply the safeguards required for that transfer before the service is enabled.

7. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, applicable business or legal requirements, dispute handling and security. A specific retention schedule will be approved before launch for enquiries, leads, client records, analytics and legacy marketplace archives.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to be informed about processing, access your personal data, request correction, object to processing, request deletion where applicable, request restriction or portability where applicable, and withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.

9. Security

We use organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the website and the information processed. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Cookies and analytics

Essential technologies may be used to operate and protect the website. Non-essential analytics or similar technologies will not be activated until the selected tools and consent configuration have been approved. The live notice will identify the technologies actually in use.

11. Legacy marketplace information

The former Taskmatehub marketplace is being separated from the new corporate website. Historical marketplace records will not be imported into the new public website by default. Their retention, restriction or deletion will be handled separately according to documented business, legal and data-protection requirements.

12. Contact

Privacy enquiries may be sent to info@taskmatehub.com. If you believe your data-protection rights have not been respected, you may also use the complaint mechanisms provided by Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
